Food, food, food the hallmark of any good holiday and Andalucia has many offerings especially if you are partial to seafood in any forms. Shell fish are everywhere, especially my favourite the red prawns that look cooked when you buy them. No preparaton necessary just wash them make an aoli and throw them straight onto the BBQ.
Tuna has been fished aroud these areas since Phoenician times and it's very popular in all the restuarants and supermarkets. You have to try it, i prefer it raw but everyone has a different opinion. Some of the best tuna is served up along the seeafront restuarants
Conil has plenty of restaurants serving all kinds of local food and international food. I prefer the restaurants around the main square for the atmosphere and there are a few good tapa bars around as well.
If you want seafood a good restaurant with a great view, El Sopa serves a good paella for two but the service is arrogant and annoying so go there at your own risk. I prefer the steak restaurant called Mam
